The other board is still running, but I've recently heard that there are only about 3 people using it. I think we owe it to our friends and to ourselves to keep BOTH boards busy. There are only about 50 members on this site, and on the other there are about 150. I think if we tried we could get all our old friends in here again. What do y'all think?

I talked with Janet a short time ago, and she is planning to keep things running as long as she can. Petty Fan in Texas was the one who maintained the site, I guess, but he backed away some time ago. That is why the wallpaper hasn't been changed since the last race at Dover. I drop in often, and will post occasionally. If anyone has the chance, you can find some interesting posts there from Janet. I would like to see more folks active in that forum, but that is your personal choice. I know there were some hard feelings when this forum was started, so there are some members here who will not go there, and that's OK.

Sometimes reality is not a savory meal, but it is the only thing on the plate.

What did the original PE site have about 5000 signed up not sure how many we on regularly, I drop by the old site from time to time but haven't posted in a long time. It would be nice to get some of those people here, especially from the original PE site, lot of good people gone.

Please feel free to invite nearly anybody from the old site to this one. I invited people here who were active as possible and didn't have time to get to anywhere near all. If any of you wish to do this it would be great. I am sure there are many there who don't even know we are here.
And yes, some of us here won't really go back. That was the reason this one was founded. But I can and will not blame anyone who wishes to use both.
