Again, a pic that has been seen many times but found it in a larger format.  The significance of this race is obvious as it changed Nascar and brought Richard Petty to stardom.  Take a close look at this scan  I wonder how much this record would be worth |

Approximately 4 years ago, the mono version of this album in VG condition, sold for $76.00 at auction.

Oh man! I HAVE that album!!!!!!
And thank you so much for this post Rick! To me that will always be the greatest Nascar race ever run and the finest car. I know that is only true to me but it is my own reality.

Tom, have you listened to the album? I have this one:  Actually, I have TWO of them. Both are still sealed in the shrink wrap. I'm reluctant to open them, given the potential collector value. Maybe I should open one, and save the other? |
