Great pics!!!!! My favorite Nascar year ever!!!!!!!! Notice the driver's faces were really dirty and oily after a race. Now they come out clean! Today's drivers would have a hard time back then!

Believe it or not, the Darlington series came from a guy in Sweden, who originally posted them in a vintage aircraft forum (they have a section like "anything goes"). He was nice enough to share and assured me these are all in the public domain at this point.

The unknown driver above is Jimmy Pardue in the #54 Burton-Robinson Plymouth. The gold HEMI engine pics are Jimmy's motor...note his '54' creeper in the first HEMI pic.
