Looks like Bubba has done a fair job with the 43. Same story with the car though, just a different pair of hands. NO SPEED[
Still 3 to 5 mph off the pace. Had it not been for the Mandatory caution he would have been a lap down on the first fuel run. To his credit and the crew they did manage to finish on the lead lap.
Things got a little ugly on the restart, the 43 looked like the old movie version of a wagon train surrounded by Indians.
Unless he just missed a shift or was late on the gas that shows how much off the 43 car is. Late in the race when it's really time to go we go backwards.
Sonoma may be interesting maybe he has some special talent for road course that will show up that would be a pleasant surprise. Bubba just may have some special JuJu for Sonama.
Anybody heard about a come back race for Aric ??
