I almost hi-jacked the 2010 HOF Class thread. But that would not have been right so I started a new one.
Now that we have OUR first five....
Who were the first in the baseball hall of fame?
And how about the football hof? There were 17 in the first class in 1963. Many are unknown to me. But even the casual fan would recognize some of them And one has a field named after him!
I'll let this ride for a day or so before I post the answers. Try to come up with some without binging or googling!

Baseball would be Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, perhaps Nap LaJoie, Cy Young.
NFL I have no idea.

It was my idea to post the quiz, so I certainly don't hate you!
Stuck, however, may be stalking you even as I write this.

Nope. My beliefs tell me after my physical death, I'll be far better off! Probably have a better view of the ceremonies too.
Remember the Righteous Brothers' "Rock And Roll heaven"? Well, heaven must have one heck of a race team!

I think maybe they should have put more than five in the first time. Lot of greats out there.
