My Little Jack Russell, Abby, followed some neighbors across the street, or known as five lane HWY 25, to go to hardees. However, Abby stopped in the turn lane to look both ways, and a cop came into the turn lane, and when he did, he didn't see the little dog standing there, and ran over her completley on accident. He stopped and gave my neighbors his name and badge number, (Abby used to be my neighbors dog before we got her), and my neighbors picked her body up off HWY 25, and buried her at their house. I didn't find out until Wendesday, or yesterday, and It's weird, not seeing her trotting down the pathway to come see me, or hearing that little pitter patter when she walked across some leaves. Abby was the second dog i've lost in two weeks, Beethoven, a mix of three or four dogs, had cancer, and we had to put him down, then Abby got ran over. So my pitbull-beardog mix stands in his pin outside the "Storage Trailer" we have down the hill and neighboring our house, and i have my two cats, Harley and Star, my 24 year old dove, and my little chipmunk.

I'm sorry Fireball. I know how you feel. It's still not the same without Kacie and I still cry for her sometimes, and remember I lost her over a year ago. She was the absolute best dog I've ever known. If only I'd seen this post 4 days ago. I could've given you two new dogs for free. We found a pit bull and a pit bull-boxer mix. They were really, really sweet. I'm glad we found a home for them the day before yesterday because if we hadn't have found one for them soon we would have had to take them to the animal shelter. They probably would have had to put them to sleep, because no one would have given them a chance. They'd look at them and say, "Oh, they must be mean, they're pit bulls." But Lady and Buckshot were very, very sweet.
I'm sorry you lost your dogs. I know how it feels and I'm really sorry for you.
