Don't claim to be the statistic Petty giant I had to look it up. Richard won 9 times in a Ford. I do remember being at Riverside in 69 when he won. Don't mean anything about what his drivers could do now though. One thing for sure they know what Ford power will and will not do. Yates is a serious man and always has been. Beside Rousch I can't think of better power people maybe the Hendrick program. If RP's troops are in a Ford I'm now a Ford man. ;D Did I say that ;D Lord have mercy I'll get over it though. I can hear the tools rattling outside. LOL ;D ;D Seriously though the Blue Oval Is In. ( spatoooey) pb

Gosh, I have to find another pattern for my Kool Aid glasses. . . . Hmmm, blue oval on one side and a 43 Talladega on the other? Perhaps with little sponsor logos all around so they would know we mean business and love them all. . . . . No little umbrellas. . . .

I'm already in the Ford fold. I was never, and I mean never, a Ford kind of guy, but after my uncle passed away I got his car. Nothing classic, just a 1993 Escort station wagon with 1.9 liters of tire burning power under the hood. Oh well it gets me where I want to go at 30 mpg. It has those annoying automatic seat belts though. Not one of Ford's better ideas.

I can be a Ford fan. Tried liking Roush but it never really connected. Has been hard being a Dodge fan to a great degree. With Hendrick and Roush being so strong we had little to cheer for aside from an occaisional Kasey win or Kurt Busch win. I think Ford will make sure we are real strong. And I love the idea of Yates horsepower!

I'm an RPM fan. The cars all look the same anyway. And if we get better support from Ford...it'll all end well!

I thought RP won 10 races in the Ford. Anyway I had a 70 torino (blue) with hide away headlights and a 351 cleveland and two cougars. They were all nice cars. Just getting into the Ford mode!!

I have a Ford conversion van that is 10 years old and has almost 300,000 miles on it (dog shows). First Ford I've ever owned or driven. I really shouldn't speak badly about it because it has been really good to me but I can't say I'm a Ford fan. I've preferred Chevys although we did have a Chrysler Imperial that I really loved back in the 80's. But it's true: these COT's all look alike regardless of the brand. What will be important is the power under the hood. If Ford gives us more and better then I'm in! Songsmith: on the blue Kool Aid glasses. How about peel off stickers so when things change you don't have to throw out the glasses?
