I love comparing these two pictures. They are a bit on the small side, sorry 'bout that. But do you think Kasey tries as hard as the King? Richard in 1967, probably at Riverside, clearly lifting the right front.  Kasey at Sonoma, June 22 2009, lifting even more!  |

Very nice!!! I think Kasey surely does try!!! Perhaps Pikes Peak or was it ASCA only???

I'm not ware of Richard ever having run Pikes Peak.

Maybe not. Pikes may have been USAC only.

Nice pics Paul. The top pic is from Riverside, Petty never ran Pikes Peak. In the early 60's they ran a couple of times at Watkins Glenn and ran several races at a roadcourse in Augusta Georgia I think. Nascar may have run at one or two other roadcourses in the past.
