Hi again!
Thursday night we had to take my Mom to the emergency room as she was running a fever and having hallucinations and all, it was so high. The verdict was a kidney and bladder infection, and the nausea and all was caused by a combination of that and her being allergic to most any infection. Was there from about 11:30 that night til 8 o'clock yesterday morning.
Last night, (Friday night) as a result of the fever and of still throwing up her antibiotics and all she fell in the bathroom, falling forward into her bathtub and breaking her nose and bruising herself up pretty badly. So last night we took her at about midnight and I am just now getting home at 1 in the afternoon.
They are keeping her this time. First to be able to give her IV antibiotics so she doesn't have to take the pills that won't stay down. Also she is being kept to be assured she won't fall again. She had falled five weeks ago and cracked her hip and had just gotten out of the hospital two weeks ago.
Scary times, since she is 81. . . I am tired but happy she is doing alright and her outlook is actually pretty good once we get rid of the infection and get her strength back. I thank God it wasn't worse and that she will get much better than she has been in a while.
Asking for prayers for her healing and for her to gain strength again.
If I am scarce for a day or two I am resting up after being up for most of the past 56 hours straight. But again, I am happy tired in that she will be alright soon and that they are keeping her til at least Wednesday to build her up and get her healed.
