I'm sure Amanda will be our only grandchild and all four of her grandparents just think she's the best thing ever!

Chili, you seriously named your kids Jack and Jill? You don't by chance live on a hill do you?
Anyway, ours are Carl (18 and engaged) and Marie (23 and living at home while taking classes at the local college) and our beagle Peanut.

Go to the member list and click on Chilipepper's web site. I spent some time there the other evening and have been meaning to say something. Those are the most beautiful dogs!

Family...
I'm 51, lifelong NJ guy. I do live only about 20 miles or so from Newark and 25 miles from NYC. But lest you think NJ is "all city", this morning, two bucks were literally banging heads & antlers in the woods behind my house. Very cool.
About three years ago, another pair really had it out on my newly seeded front lawn. Blood splatters on my new block sidewalk and they completely trashed the new lawn. despite the trashing, it was very cool to be able to watch from a window about ten feet away.
OK, family...married in 1989. Still married.
One daughter, Lauren, who will turn 16 in two weeks. She's not that into racing now, but she did want a Petty driver suit and safety helmet for her Barbie, when she still played with them. And she could spot the 43 on the TV.
Great kid. High school sophomore. Starter on her varsity girls volleyball team (3 and 1 as of this afternoon). Plays piccolo in the marching band (state champions and northeast regional champions last year) and flute in the concert band.
Am I proud of her? You bet I am.
One ferret.
Sadly, Lauren never knew her maternal grandmother. But she knew Popi and was with him when he died. Paternal grandparents are both with us.

Wow, Chili, you have dogs!!! Paul must be really something to see the bucks compete. Wow! I can only imagine. Best we can do is watch hummingbirds battle over feeders. Little devils are fierce for thier size. At any rate; Married to my much better half Judith who may give me my red crayons back now. . . Daughters are Melanie, 38, Ronni, 17 and Emily 15. Grandkids are Dawson 8 and Bryson 6. They are a handful. Ronni and Emmy still at home. Ronni has learned to play guitar and write her own music. Both are Kasey and Richard Petty fans. Proud also that they are Glen Beck fans and watch him with me every day! Teaching them right from the beginning. Trevor MacPherson and Lady Katherine McAbee are our Westies. Cat's name was Gracy til I changed it to Thibideaux because she is so strange. We just call her Tibby.
That is us. We are a happy bunch and hope to be that way a long time.

Hey all, Great thread! I have been married for 26 years now. And to the same women, at least I think so........I have wondered about body snachers a time or two. We have 2 children, Amber 25-who is a hair stylists in Scottsdale, AZ check out http//www.chopperssalon.com if you in the area............check her out, she owes me money LOL. Ryan 18 going on 19 in Oct. he is attending Moorhead State University which is only about 2 hrs away. He is enjoying the dorm life and experience life away from home. We also have a English Springer 4 years old and is as spoiled as our childern. No grandchildren yet as the wife has forbidden our children from having kids............she thinks she's not old enough to be a grandma.

Hi EMT. You know all those things your friends tell you about teenage girls? Just wait. They are all true! It's all good, but they are all true! Truly interesting times having a 16 year old girl in the house.

Revilo: Yep. Jack and Jill except that Jill Renee came first and then John Charles who we call Jack. So I always make sure I say Jill and Jack rather than Jack and Jill. You'd be surprised how many people don't pick up on the "Jill and Jack" thing. If any of you are really bored and love puppies, we have a kazillion video clips uploaded to my You Tube: www.youtube.com/SallyBedow. I think there are even clips of our place here in Texas and a couple of our church choir's dress rehersal for last Christmas' cantata.
