1971 - Richard wins his 3rd Daytona 500.

1976 - Joe Millikan wins the Permatex 300 late model sportsman race at Daytona in a Petty Enterprises #04 Dodge Charger.

1988 - Richard flips wildly end-over-end after getting tapped coming out of turn 4 at the Daytona 500. He was uninjured.
