1961 - Richard finishes 4th in a 200 lap race at Asheville-Weaverville.

1967 - Richard wins the Fireball 300 at Asheville-Weaverville Speedway.

1972 - Richard finishes 4th in the Miller High Life 500 at Ontario.

1978 - Richard finishes 4th in the Carolina 500 at Rockingham.

These little speedways that would not ever attract any of today's teams and yet back in that time even King Richard took his car there.
Another reason he is and will be the King. He raced. Everywhere and anywhere. Large and small, the man raced.
