1963 - Petty cars finish 2nd and 3rd in a 165 lap race at Orange Speeedway in Hillsboro, NC. Jim Paschal finishes 2nd in the #41 Petty Plymouth, and Richard finishes 3rd.
1964 - The Petty brothers combine for two top-10 finishes at Richmond, VA. Richard finishes 2nd, and Maurice finishes 7th.
2002 - Buckshot Jones finishes 12th in the MBNA America 500 at Atlanta in the #44 Georgia Pacific Petty Enterprises Dodge. Kyle finishes 15th.

Not a bad day for our guys! Buckshot didn't last long. He wrecked a lot of good cars.

Yes, sadly Buckshot stood a 00% chance of winning whenever he hit the track in Cup. Probably equal parts bad car and his not being ready for Cup. I liked the guy though. Met him a couple of times here in Nashville in his Busch days. Was nice to me both times. It was right in the middle of his "feud" with Randy LaJoie who always insisted on calling him Roy.
