1959 - Lee finishes 2nd in #43 and Richard finishes 9th in #42 in a 200 lapper at Bowman-Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem NC.

1964 - Richard finishes 3rd at Bowman-Gray Stadium.

1980 - Richard finishes 8th in the Valleydale Southeastern 500 at Bristol. Dale Earnhardt went back-to-back by winning the race for the 2nd year in a row.

2003 - Brazilian native Christian Fittipaldi finishes 38th in the #45 Georgia-Pacific Petty Enterprises. Dodge in the Samsung/Radio Shack 500 at Texas.

Great facts and nice to see a pic of Kyle!
If I remember right the 59 and 64 races at BG Stadium only paid 500 to 750 to the winners and perhaps 350 or less to second and third.
The pretty boy racers of these days would never have shown up for all the races the King did.
Another reason he is and always will be the King.
