1952 - Lee finishes 4th in a 200 lap race at Martinsville.

1967 - Richard wins the Columbia 200 at Columbia Speedway.

1969 - Richard finishes a distant 2nd to Bobby Isaac in a 250 lap race at Hickory Speedway. Isaac led all 250 laps and finished 2 laps ahead of the King.

1975 - Richard wins the Gwen Staley 400 at North Wilkesboro (NC) Speedway.

1985 - Kyle finishes 6th and Richard finishes 8th in the Valleydale 500 at Bristol.

1986 - Kyle finishes 9th in the Valleydale 500 at Bristol. Rusty Wallace wins his first Cup race, and this was my first trip to Bristol. I paid $18 to stand on a muddy bank above the backstretch concrete grandstands.

That would be at least 100 or so now! Bet it was fun though! Looks like another pretty good day in Petty history. . .
