1957 - Ralph Earnhardt drives a #188 Petty Enterprises Oldsmobile to a 14th place finish at Langhorne (Pennsylvania) Speedway.
1963 - Richard wins the South Boston 400, and teammate Jim Paschal finishes 2nd.
1985 - Kyle finishes 12th in the TranSouth 500 at Darlington. Richard finishes 33rd, and Morgan Shepherd finishes 18th in the Maurice Petty-prepared, Petty Enterprises Ford. Beer wagons take the top 3 spots: Winner Bill Elliott with Coors, 2nd place Darrell Waltrip with Budweiser, and 3rd place Tim Richmond with Old Milwaukee.

Ok, your post are like really super awesome............but it keeps raising questions.
It appears that PE put alot of drivers on the track over the years.......any one have a list of all the drivers that ran PE cars.

You are probably thinking about Possum Jones. He drove for Julian Petty - Lee's brother/Richard's uncle. But to my knowledge, he's not Buckshot's dad - though that would make for a great story.  |
