1963 - Richard wins the Gwyn Staley 400 at North Wilkesboro Speedway.
1967 - Richard finishes 2nd to rival Bobby Allison in a 200 lap race at Savannah (GA) Speedway.
1974 - Richard finishes 2nd to Cale Yarborough in the Virginia 500 at Martinsville.
1985 - Richard finishes 7th and Kyle finishes 11th in the Virginia 500. Coincidentally enough, Kyle's sponsor was 7-11.
1991 - Kyle finishes 2nd to Dale Earnhardt in the Hanes 500 at Martinsville.
