1952 - Lee wins a 300 lap race at Central City Speedway in Macon, GA.

1958 - Lee finishes 3rd in a 200 lap race at Fairgrounds Speedway in Birmingham, AL.

1959 - Richard finishes 4th in his first Southern 500.

1964 - Two Petty cars finish in the top 3 in the Southern 500 at Darlington. Jim Paschal (#41) and Richard finish second and third, respectively.



1970 - Pete Hamilton finishes 3rd and Richard finishes 5th in the Southern 500

1980 - Richard finishes 2nd to Bobby Allison in the Capital City 400 at Richmond.

1986 - Richard finishes 4th in the Wrangler Jeans 400 at Richmond.

1996 - Bobby Hamilton finishes 7th in the #43 in the Miller 400 at Richmond.
