1952 - Lee wins at the famous Langhorne Speedway in Pennsylvania.
1958 - Lee finishes 2nd to Speedy Thompson in the Richmond 200.
1958 - While Lee runs in Richmond, Richard finishes 5th in a 155 lap convertible race at Salilsbury (SC) Speedway. Teammate Fireball Roberts finishes 19th after starting 3rd in a #42 Oldsmobile.
1964 - Richard finishes 3rd in the Capital City 300 at Richmond in #41.
1969 - Talladega runs its debut race without most of its star drivers including Richard Petty. Richard led the other drivers and members of the PDA in a walk out over what were viewed as unsafe racing conditions.
