1958 - Bob Welborn wins the pole and the race in a Julian Petty-owned Chevrolet in a 150 lapper at Champion Speedway in Fayetteville NC. Lee & Richard finish 9th and 13th, respectively, in their Petty Enterprises Oldsmobiles. Instead of racing #43, Richard's number was the reverse of his father's - #24.
1969 - Richard finishes 6th in his Ford in the Georgia 500 at Middle Georgia Speedway in Macon.
1975 - Richard finishes 3rd in the Dixie 500 at Atlanta.
2003 - Jeff Green finishes 19th in #43 and Kyle finishes 32nd in the Pop Secret 400 at Rockingham. It is the next to last Cup race run at Rockingham, Bill Elliott's final Cup win, the clincher by Matt Kenseth of the final Winston Cup, and the first and only race at Rockingham attended by PettyCash.

I majored in accounting in college and worked as a financial auditor/CPA for many years. So its my feeble attempt to work in a bit of subtle accounting humor into my affection for Petty Racing.
