Are one of you VIPF (Very Important Petty Fan) Admins able to tell how many people have registered here? This thread already has 156 views. Hi Paul. Welcome aboard. If you go WAAAAYYYYY up to the top of the page you can find the icon that says "members". It will tell you we now have 13 members. You and Scott are the latest. I like it here, and I hope you do to. Kind of like being back at PE. revilo (not an administrator)

Thanks. While you were writing this...I was figuring out the same thing. I appreciate the help...but I must say I'm proud I was able to figure it out. Paul - not an administrator either.

Thanks guys on the avatar. I think I'm going to give it another try today. I live in Port Lavaca - on the Gulf Coast about half way between Houston and Corpus Christi. Thats hurricane country aint it. Not Miami but track of many storms. Been lucky this year. We have had a great week here in Virginia, highs in the upper 70s lows in the mid 50s. We even got down to about 51 Monday night. Awesome I love fall.

Looks like we are moving right along. This is going to be very nice indeed.
The nice thing is that as an admin I don't really have to or want to do anything. I just want to be a peep like all the other peeps here. To me that is how it should be.
You are right Paul. It does look nice. I think Rick has already done some decorating, such as the two tone blue here. Nicely done and basic.

On the Yee Ha thing: us old birds can't stretch it out much any more. LOL!
And yep, we're Hurricane Central on the Texas Coast. It seems as if when a hurricane comes in the Gulf the bulls eye is always on Port Lavaca. We usually don't end up the final target but it gives us pause about three or four times a year.

I'm in folks, let's get this board cranked up!!! I'll be gone today til monday 4wheelin and dirt bikin it, yall have a safe and happy labor day wknd. I will look forward to seein the posts here when I get back. Hope you had a good weekend. The area where I live in eastern PA is like Mecca for ATV'ers every weekend. They go riding on the old coal lands. There are mountains of coal silt that have been there for many years, and they have become hill climbs. There are trails all over the place around here, especially a place called Blackwood. Hey D, I'm not sure where you're from, but have you ever heard of the place I'm talking about? Hope you had a good time.

Hey Brett! My brother and I used to ride the banks, hills and gradings where they were building I-75 through our part of North Georgia many hundreds of years ago. We had so much fun! He had a Yamaha 175 street and trail and I had a Kawasaki 100. Then I got a Kawasaki 400 S3 I believe. It was a three cylinder street rocket. Even then I still rode it on the dirt and everything. I had learned enough by that point to know to start up a hill and then just to maintain speed to get up. Never wrecked it even on dirt or mud. Those were good times, my friends. Great times. I do believe my brother Ronnie is up there somewhere scouting out some dirt for the day we ride again.

Well im glad to be here, and considered a part of the "true petty family" considering my age I have to think im the youngest of the bunch. I respect the petty heritage even though I didn't truly start following the sport until after KP was past his prime. I would just like to say that I don't post all that much but i'm here every day, twice a day keeping up with the action. But when I do post I speak whats on my mind, even if it does ruffle a few feathers. Glad to be a part of a family that respects everyone's opinion and beliefs.

I am from the Atlanta area,we go ridin at a place called Durhamtown plantation a couple hours away. It's a great time check it out online. I ride a YZ450 and have a Honda 400 4wheeler,the kids each ride 4wheelers along with my better half.Do you ride at all? Songsmith lives right up the road from me,he used to ride i'm going to try and talk him into ridin again.Whatcha think Tom?

I love to ride, Brett. Only problem is that I don't think a Harley Superglide, the only bike I have now, would be too good on the dirt. Dirt riding is fun. I have always loved it. Have to ride slower though as I am too old to heal much anymore.
