Hey gang some folks here seem to think it is an uphill battle to win this thing [Kasey],but I have to say it is a coin toss! Nobody has really torn it up at the end of the season. It looks to me that this will be a very very close chase. Kasey has all the tools he needs with 12 races left and he seems to be gettin stronger in my eyes to get the job done!!

Kasey is getting stronger and a lot of the Chase is cookie cutters which he is great at.
I think that even with the competition if Kasey goes on a roll he can win it all!
Now wouldn't that be something special!!!!

For what it's worth I think he has a shot at the title.
Remember though that Gordon averaged a 5th place finish a couple years ago and Jimmy cleaned his clock.
This is the time of the year everyone has their stuff runnin the best.
I honestly don't think anyone much lower than 5th has a real good chance. A couple bad finishes or a couple DNF's you're toast.
Of course the first couple races are very important.
Kasry is very consistant he's got a real shot.

I have been crossing all possible body parts and praying for the best.
I hope Kasey can win it. I also hope that a couple of RPM's other drivers can pull of a win this year. AJ is getting closer all the time.

I agree. Kasey seems to be of the right mind set and the stars seem to be aligning in his favor. Plus, this morning at my little, local convenience store (they don't sell Hot Rod magazine I might add), the store was plastered in Bud/Kasey posters inside and outside. Bud must really be spending some bucks on this new Chase campaign! Even had a lifesize cardboard cut out of Kasey positioned just by a display inside the front door. Pretty neat.

Nice full page ad in Sports Illustrated this week with Kasey. "We'll bring the beer, you bring the cup." Boy this is fun having a winning driver. Thee Chase actually means something this year.  |

I think any one in the top 12 can win. I think Kasey has a very good chance. I know Jimmy is awesome but as they say THEY PLAY THE GAME FOR A REASON. That being said Kasey has a very good chance because anything can happpen. I think he can win it.
