Read on Jayski & Nascar .com that Kasey will be looking at options starting in January for the 2011 season. Says he's been frustrated. I can understand that. But there are a lot of frustrated drivers out there. I hope things work out for him.

More media twisting with hyped headlines. Kasey is not saying anything he hasn't said before. What he says is true.
He didn't say he is looking to leave, he is exploring his options, options that at this point aren't totally clear as RPM's management has yet to provide him with the clear vision of the future.
He gets more media for this on quitting then Harvick who said I am out after next year.........they are just rattling the same cages.
They (media) just can't see RPM becoming a challenge to Hendricks. Nor can they forgive Gillette for buying the team from the Golden boy wonder Evernham and then having the audacity to actually run the team.

There is nothing extraordinary here; nothing to get excited about. Kasey says things are unsetled at RPM. He's right, they are. he says the season neds to end to enable management to close the deal for the future. And he's right about that too. And he says "At this point, I have one year left. It was just a friendly gesture getting FORD engines and FORD decals on one of their cars to finish the season ? RPM released a bunch of employee's just for the heck of it ? The Yates deal has not been announced yet ..... How can Kane be frustrated making the BIG and winning races ? Better yet he can wait untill Mark Martin retires then hop into the 5 car or run over to Roush when one of those guys bails. It's tough to be Millionare  |

Pour kasey is not being kept in the managment loop . Was he racing for basicaly for nothing like a. j. or reed . He can take a hike right now as for as im concerned, and move AJ up in the 43 car as the top dog.Thats the only car that i really want to win anyway. |

Petty will remain a mediocre team if they allow Kasey to go after next season. AJ will not be a top contender in my oppinion. He will have good races but will probably not contend for a championship. Give any driver out there the right equipment and they will do well but its cool heads during all races that are contenders. I cant stand the fact that jj will most likely win his 4th straight but he is one of those cool headed drivers that knows how to finish a race. I'll bet that if kasey does leave that budweiser will go with him.

Frankly, while we may not like JJ's recent domination, he really approaches it the same way Richard did.
Cool heads get you to the end of the race. And that is the goal at the start of the race. Because if you are not finishing races, you'll not be winning any races.

I think Kasey will stay and I also think AJ will win some races and be on par with Kasey. What Kasey wants out of RPM is stability in the management and focus on the races and cars. We will have both next year.
Next year we will be a top tier team. We were almost there this year.

I mean Kurt with Miller at least got a somewhat bad boy beer drinking image. Kasey is so vanilla and seems like he would be better off suited drinking Fuji water more then Bud. |
