I think the 43 is back! Bubba did an awesome job all day and brought the 43 home P2. It was also a 3 and 43 one two. Bubba is a wheelman, and I believe he's gonna give us something to see this year.

Been smiling all night! Every time I thought "ok they are falling back now, it was fun for awhile" Bubba kept coming back up. Can't wait for next week.

Awesome job!!! I am so excited about Bubba. I had a good feeling about him even before his fill-in role last season! I hope the hype doesn't overwhelm him, but I haven't been this excited about the 43 in decades!!

Bubba definitely is a wheelman. Also looks like he may finally bring a little luck to the 43 as well.

Maybe The King finally convinced his Lightning McQueen to drive for Dinoco. It's going to be a long road ahead of us and as the media pundits have (correctly) pointed out, the non-plate tracks coming up will tell the tale about how good RPM really is. But one thing about the merger with Childress, is I believe Childress has a real affinity for Richard Petty and he's going to do more for RPM than previous partners had just because he feels it's the right thing to do for an old friend. Let's hope for it to be true, guys. NASCAR sits pretty precariously now on the verge of falling well back of where it's been for at least 20 years. It needs a "next big thing." And Wallace, married up to Richard Petty, may be NASCAR's best chance. At least we know the interviews with those two will be entertaining. Jess

Bubba did a great job of staying out of trouble and staying up near the front. 2nd might be the first loser, but a great effort by the entire team.

Ditto what all of you already wrote.
Bubba is for real. And I believe he will be great for RPM and for the sport.
His social media presence alone is a huge addition.
If you haven't seen his post race interview in the media center, go find it. We have family man here ("...all I want to do is make my family proud...." He's a great fit for RPM!
