Still Nothing

I figured after Bubba finished 3rd in the Duel that there would be some sort of conversation going on here. Yet nothing. Has everyone gone to the Facebook page for their fix.

Yes I thought that too. It was fun to see them run up front the whole race, I'm not sure they have the all out speed but Bubba did a great job staying out of trouble. Lets hope for a good solid run and maybe he can bring the car home for a solid finish. I know its early but after watching him last year and last night I think he may turn out to be a good fit to help RPM.

Agreed it would be nice if there were more action here. But only 9 members have logged into the forum in 2018

There is a lot of conversation on Facebook in the True Blue Petty Fans group. I haven't really paid much attention to user's names, but I only recognize one person from here. And there are other FB groups.

On to the 125...

I thought Bubba did a nice job.

He  got lucky in the Johnson/Almirola crash, dodged that one without doing anything. He drafted well, consistently moved up. And drove around the second accident with only milliseconds to react. That was probably his best driving of the day.

He was also smart at the end. He looked to move up to block Logano, but thought the better of it and backed off. Had he moved up, he would have taken himself and Logano out, and likely a few cars behind them. Looked like Logano and Bubba had a good chat about it after the race, and both were smiling.

Make sure you find the video clip of Richard walking with Bubba to the media center after the race. It's on Twitter and Facebook. Had his arm around Bubba, talking all the way. And of course when he raised his left hand to demonstrate something, you could see The King was holding his ever-present Sharpie. You never know when you'll need to sign the next autograph!

Excited for the 500!

Off the track, I love Bubba's social media presence. He's everywhere!

Lugnut is still around, I have been checking the site now and then, but I don't always log in. Watched the duels Bubba did well. Hope he can make it 500 miles. Then we can see what he's got. I don't do facebook.

I'm still here also. Don't log in much but check in on a regular basis. Didn't watch a race at all last season, still think NASCRAP has ruined things by trying to be a stick and ball type sport, but still keep up with RPM. I don't do facebook either. Waste of what little time I have.
