I miss Tom badly as Judith is still dealing with her loss but she is ok.

It is refreshing to see well written intellectual commentary from our members. You guys are on point.

For the first time in years I am writing from a computer or rather laptop. This will take some time to handle but eventually I will do some good things.

On a Petty note I am offended that Andy Petree and Dale Jr. to say that Kyle Bush is the best ever driver. What ? Please pay me to say something so incorrect. Jr has bumped his head sayin tat NASCAR drivers are not getting paid enough. Jr has nothing to worry about. Spin it up Boys cuz you are full of it.

Petree and Jr know better. but getting paid to hype Kyle Bush.

I became angry when a long time friend in the blogs recently commented about Richard winning 100 lap races with money. I checked him on this FB thread and he deleted the thread ? The talk of Kyle being the best driver ever is not true.

Kyle Bush can take the lunch money but has some work to do as the pundits claim him to be the best ever.

I hear ya on Kyle Bush. If he handled himself with just a bit of humbleness he would be much easier to take if at all.

BEST EVER I don't think so. These people are over looking several things. 1. How They Are Made the cars now are much better engineered, the equipment used to put them together and set them up is cutting edge. 2. Tires, tires of Richards era compared to today tires are like comparing a later model car to a model T. 3. Structural integrity, accidents like they have today back in the 60's - 70's would put you in the hospital or morgue. Travel yes travel they didn't fly around much back in the day. Pit Crews & support the personnel they have today are a virtual army of personnel supporting the creation, assembly, testing, and race prep down to the tiny'est detail like clear coating decal edges for more aero and speed.

I could maybe support the idea that he's the most talented and wining'est driver is this era from 2000 until now.
