Last night before I could even say to myself wonder how far back the 43 is WHAM.I think only just a couple years ago he would be dead. What a LICK. I think he was still doing over 100 when he hit.
I hope he doesn't have a long term problem with the back now. He's still pretty young and may heal quick, but the spine is just one of those places on the body that can give you problems for the rest of your life.
Get well Aric the 43 will still be there.

Was a very scary sight. I had him on raceview, and out of all the years I've been listening to the scanner on there, I've never heard anything like that. Joel the spotter asked him if he was alright, and he just screamed "My back, my back" and let out a very painful sounding yell. It didn't sound good at all. I'm glad it's not worse, but it sounds bad enough, and looks like he'll be out for several weeks, or even a few months. I hate it for all the 43 team, they've went from struggling at the beginning of year, to starting to show a little promise and progress, to Nascar penalizing them hard for hardly anything, to now this. I hope he can bounce back but it's a tough year here now.
