That Kasey was running the 43 in the Nationwide series again this week. . . . Also really wishing Kasey would take over the 43 again and take her back to her true glory. He could you know.

Way to go Rick! I am keeping that pic for sure. I watched that whole race just to see the 43 going fast and competing and though it didn't end the way I wished it would it was a fine race! The glory days lived again for a little while!

This pic is from Bobby Hamilton's victory at Phoenix in 1996.
The Spring race at Rockingham was a different story. Hamilton had the best car once the tires wore and at the Rock this is what you wanted. The problem was that Bobby wanted to slice and dice with Earnhardt late in the event. Hamilton made a tactical error that day and it cost him the event. If he would have been more patient the outcome could have been different.
My father was hot about that deal but I explained that Hamilton should have known better than to race with Earnhardt.
Hamilton was a great driver and in his day he was one of the best short trackers in the country and could build his own cars.

Nice history there my friend! Yeah, racing with Earnhardt wasn't really sport as Sr would wreck you to win. I know a lot of people make him into a real hero but I have never liked bullies.
