Mine is, well, the one on this site is pretty obvious. I'm a cadet, and my last name's Jordan. Duh. But the one you commonly know me as, Racefan43doc, came from a lot of different places.
Race fan is obvious, I'm a race fan. 43 is of course for the Petty's. Doc is from the movie Cars. Doc is my favorite character, and that's why I've always had you guys call me Doc. You can still call me that, but I kinda like being called a cadet by my buddies. It makes me feel proud. And when you guys call me Jordan, well, that's pretty much an everyday thing now, so I don't care.

Let us know what you prefer, cadet Jordan, and we will call you that. Most folks have a preference, and we're all friends here. In the past I have used Jordan as though it were a first name. In the military you will get used to being called by your last name, but that is not necessary here. Let us know.

Hey Doc, I know I've addressed you as Jordan. I'm sorry, I thought that was your first name. Someday I bet we'll be addressing you as General!
I must have one of the more boring screen names here. P for Paul. That's my name. Mossberg for, well Mossberg, 'cause that's my lastname. I know. Creative!

My name is songsmith1950 for pretty easy reasons.
First my first name is song and my last name is smith.
The 1950 is for a 1950 Ford I once saw.
Not.

used to be loanshark43 until I messed up on the original sign in! Anyway, everyone knows why the 43. The loanshark is a stab at humor for me. I am a small loan (finance company) manager.

I got really creative for my username. I spelled my last name backwards. That took a lot of thought.

I don't mind you guys calling me Jordan. Pretty much all the cadet do and so do Sergeant and Colonel. Well, Colonel calls me by my first name, or maybe Ms. "Jerdan" as he pronounces it, lol. Or by his nick name for me. He has nicknames for everyone, there's "Nikki-nikki" (Nikki) "T-rex", for Cash. She used to just be "T" until she was eating a Honey Bun and it was falling out of her mouth and she was trying to catch it and Colonel thought it made her look like a T-rex. Mine's Knucklehead. You see I have another special nickname that only people in the JROTC can call me, Beetle Bailey. (I wonder where that came from, lol). Anyways I wanted to see if Sergeant remembered it so while he and Colonel were walking down the hall I said, "Sergeant! What's my nickname?" He said, "I give up." (His remark for everything). And Colonel said, "I know what your nickname is knucklehead, it's Knucklehead!" And so now I'm Knucklehead. But Beetle Bailey and Knucklehead are reserved SPECIAL for ONLY certain people. As for you guys, take your pick. You can call me Doc or Cadet or Jordan or Cadet Jordan. I don't care. You can even come up with your own special nickname for me if you want to. I seem to have plenty of them anyways, one more can't hurt.

So many choices, I think I'll just shorten it to CJ. How's that?
