That is one of the most incredible things I have ever seen. It explains so very much of the forgotten magic. Who needs aliens to move beams or stone when you have someone like Wally!
Thanks, that was great!

We consider ourselves an advancing society. Our technology may be increasing but it is being held by fewer and fewer individuals.
We are failing our children in not teaching problem solving. This footage is a perfect example. It also points out some of the arogance of our historians and archeologists, who assume that past generations were less intelligent than current society. The only advantage we have is better tools.
As far as better products..........how old is stone henge? how many modern structures can stand centuries with out restoration.
Now I am curious as to how this guy will get the top rocks set up.

I'm glad you are enjoying the video.
I'd love to meet this guy.
My bet on the cross blocks, he raises them just like he raised the verticle column before dropping it into place. Then uses the "stone" approach that you see in the beginning of the video to move it onto the columns.

We have lost the wisdom of the ancients because we have grown too reliant on technology and not enough on ingenuity.

The first couple of seasons of Survivor I watch religiously. I remember one tribe having a bugger of a time getting fire. there were to problems I saw right away.
1. They were given first aid kit that had a spotting scope in it that they never took inventory of.
2. more than one member of that tribe wore eye glasses, now I may be blind as a bat but I can light up kindling with mine fairly quick.
I do believe that show is a good cross section of what america has become. Weak, vain, and self indulgent. They quickly dispose of wisdom in leau of youth thinking that strenght wins over experience. If the show wanted to get real survivorish then double the time there and lenghten the time between giving them survival food.
All that time they have doing nothing..........instead of taking control of their environment they sit around conserving energy in the hopes of winning what they need.......... all the while feasts abound within there grasp.........just to lazy to get it.
What o' What have we become.
The New "messiah" preaches "hope" and "change". All it leaves me with is the Hope that there will be Change and soon.
All the while the world leaders recognize Pacifism as Peace. Hope that noble prize makes a good sheild against bomb fragments.
