1953 - Lee finishes 2nd in a 200 lap race at Langhorne Speedway.

1964 - Richard finishes 2nd to Ned Jarrett at Birmingham (AL) Fairgrounds Raceway.

1969 - Richard finishes 3rd in the Greenville-Pickens Speedway in SC.

1981 - Richard finishes 6th in the Gabriel 400 at Michigan.

1987 - Richard is credited with 6th place finish in the Budweiser 400 at Riverside. He started the race to get points but then turned the car over to Joe Ruttman for relief. Tim Richmond won the race in only his 2nd race back in 1987, and it turned out to be Tim's final win.

1992 - Kyle finishes 4th in the Miller Genuine Draft 400 at Michigan.

1996 - Bobby Hamilton wins the pole for the Miller 400 at Michigan International Speedway.

2009 - Kasey Kahne wins the first race for Richard Petty Motorsports in the Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma. Teammates A.J. Allmendinger and Elliott Sadler were 7th and 10th, respectively.
